SHIPSHAPE DAY
Thank you to everyone that came to the recent
shipshape day. We really appreciate everyone
giving up their time to help. For those that
could not make it, we will be holding another
Shipshape Day at 9am on Saturday 4th September
2010.
 HMS
CUMBERLAND PAY TRIBUTE IN BARROW
HMS Cumberland,
a Royal Navy type 22 Frigate affiliated with
Batchworth Sea Scouts,
paid a flying visit to her affiliated county of
Cumbria and was alongside in Barrow in April.
The 5900-tonne warship has been taking part in
exercises off the west coast of Scotland and
will then return to her base port of Portsmouth.
